Spooky season is here!
Every fall I watch OTGW, as one does. And every fall I make mugs to go along with it. This year, I made this really nice, black matte glaze. The finish is incredibly smooth and silky. It is also a little hard to photograph. But trust me when I say that I think this is one of my favorite glaze and design pairings so far.
This set of two ceramic mugs, thrown on the pottery wheel, is inspired by OTGW and features Greg and Wirt! Both are glazed with a matte black finish on both the inside and outside of the mug, while the design itself is left bare and matte.

✿ Fired to cone 6 in an electric kiln
